Hover Prompt Privacy Policy | Digisync Technology Solutions

Hover Prompt is a voice-synced teleprompter for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. It follows your words as you speak and never uses a timed scroll. Digisync Technology Solutions (“we”) makes Hover Prompt available. This policy is effective 14 October 2026.

What we collect

Hover Prompt collects no data. There is no account, and nothing is added to an advertising or analytics profile.

Speech recognition

Speech recognition is on-device only. Hover Prompt sets Apple’s requiresOnDeviceRecognition option and does not fall back to a server. Your voice is processed on the Mac, iPhone, or iPad you are using.

Audio and transcripts

Audio and transcripts are never recorded, stored, or sent. The microphone is used only to follow your words while you are prompting. Hover Prompt does not keep a recording, a transcript, or a copy of what you said.

Scripts and settings

Scripts and settings stay local in the app container on that device. They are not uploaded to Digisync Technology Solutions or to any other service.

Analytics, ads, tracking, and crashes

Hover Prompt does not include accounts, analytics, ads, tracking, or crash reporting SDKs. The Mac app has no network permission.

Permissions

Hover Prompt asks for Microphone and Speech Recognition access so it can follow your voice. On Mac, turn on macOS Dictation as well, so the on-device model is available.

You can withdraw these permissions in Settings: System Settings on Mac, and the Settings app on iPhone and iPad, under Privacy & Security. After you withdraw them, voice sync stops. Scripts already in the app container remain on the device until you delete them or delete the app.

TestFlight

If you use a TestFlight build, Apple shares crash reports, feedback, screenshots, device and operating system details, and the tester’s name and email address with the developer. That sharing is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy. We use what Apple provides only to fix bugs.

Email you send us

If you email [email protected], or send other optional feedback, we use the message only to reply. We delete it on request.

Children

Hover Prompt is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If these practices change, including if purchases are added later, this page and its effective date are updated first, before that change is released.
